I would like to introduce the newest members of my family....
My rooster family, that is :-). This is just the most adorable piece. There is father rooster, mother hen and a couple of fat baby chicks...Click on the picture to enlarge for detail.
I clicked to enlarge....heehee! and the babies are so sweet! Love the colors, too! We had the kitchen in our condo painted RED while we were in FL and we are thrilled with it. I need IDEAS! I'll post a picture soon!
Forget the roosters....I love that red hutch!! Our Sophie can't yet talk but she can cluck like a rooster....when you ask her what does the rooster say (my daughter has tons allover the house) she says....in sophie language... "abuckabuckabuckabucka"....she doesn't have the Cluck thing down yet.
Penny, your newest members of your family are adorable. I have collected rosters and hens a long time and I haven't seen them together with baby chicks. Sooooo cute. Congrats. Smile.
IVY is my favorite, and in a heart!! It is so beautiful. I can grow it outside but I have a hard time inside. I just bought another one I'm hoping it last a while. I've missed stopping by I hope I'm back for awhile, at least until something else gets in my way. Life just gets to busy sometimes. Ginger

Mr & Mrs Rooster/Hen and family are so charming! And your new blog is so wonderful! I was so busy in retail over the holidays I was rather oblivious to all the things going on in blogland. I have really enjoyed taking my time looking at all the beauty you've created in your home. And thanks for the biscotti recipe, one of my favorite treats!
Penny, your rooster and family is adorable! I love the flowers in the next post, too. Very bright and cheerful. Thanks for the info on the two tiered wire fruit basket! In fact by the time you had commented back about it I had already found one just like it at World Markets-Cost Plus! It was on SALE!!! Gotta love that! I simply googled "two tiered wire fruit basket" and came up with that place and went to my local shop and Voila!
